Day 1: Arrival & Settling In
Morning
– 05:45 AM: Assembly at school
– 06:15 AM: Departure by buses
– 08:15 AM: Breakfast at Torchy’s, Muzzafarnagar
– 09:15 AM: Depart from Torchy’s
– 11:45 AM: Light snacks/juice in bus
Afternoon
– 1:45 PM: Reach Camp Carnival, Kanatal
– 2:15 PM: Lunch at camp
– 3:00 PM: Gp 1: Team-building activities/Gp 2: Adventure Activities
Evening
– 6:30 PM: Tea & Evening snacks
– 8:00 PM: Dinner
– 8:45 PM: Campfire and games
– 9:30 PM: Rest for the night
Day 2: Hike and Adventure Activities
Morning
– 05:30 AM: Wake up and freshen up
– 07:00 AM: Breakfast
– 07:30 AM: Depart for starting point of the hike
– 08:00 AM: Reach the starting point of the hike, start the hike to Surkanda Devi Mandir
– 10:30 AM: Reach the temple, relax
– 11:00 AM: Hike down to the roadhead
Afternoon
– 12:30 PM: Reach the roadhead, drive back to camp
– 01:00 PM: Reach camp and have lunch
– 02:00 PM: Gp 2: Team-building activities/Gp 1: Adventure Activities
Evening
– 05:00 PM: Tea and evening snacks
– 06:00 PM: Camp activities
– 08:00 PM: Dinner
– 08:45 PM: Campfire & Sharing experiences
– 09:30 PM: Lights out, go to sleep.
Day 3: Wake up, pack up, depart for school
Morning
– 06:00 AM: Wake up and freshen up
– 07:30 AM: Morning exercises
– 08:00 AM: Breakfast
– 09:00 AM: Final pack-up and departure
Afternoon
01:30 PM: Lunch at Torchy’s, Muzzafarnagar
02:30 PM: Resume journey to school

04:30 PM: Reach school. Dispersal. Trip ends. (We might get late by 30mins to 1hr depending on the traffic conditions)

Day 1: Sun, Mar 16 2025
Update 1, 05:37pm: All well. 2 buses reached camp. one bus developed problem with tyre, resolved after some delay. Students well fed and enjoying themselves.
Update 2, 05:52pm: Bus no. 3 reaching camp in 20mins. Students had refreshments on the way.
Update 3, 18:02pm: 7C at adventure activity area with Surya sir and Muskaan ma’am
Update 4, 18:03pm: Bus 3 about to reach camp in 15mins.
Update 5, 18:09pm: Bus 3 about to reach camp in 10mins. Children little exhausted but all well. Will rest at camp, do in camp activities.
Update 6, 18:44pm: Bus 3 reached camp. Parents can call Harshita ma’am (+91 93157 90847) or Camp Carnival staff (+91 96907 77559) once the students settle down. They are all comfortably situated inside the dining hall, having some snacks. There was expected rain and light hailstorm. All are wearing jackets. All well. No one feeling cold. Though a little exhausted.
Update 7, 19:05pm: All well at camp and activity area despite rain and brief hailstorm. Akram sir and Harshita ma’am are with the students at the camp. Students are done with snacks. Being alloted tents. All happy and mischievious, no injury, no one ill. Parents may call Harshita ma’am and Akram sir once students are settled.
Update 8, 19:07pm: All students, teachers and 6 volunteers together at camp. All well.

Important Note for Parents-
Dear parents,
May we please request you to not purchase any expensive equipment and gear like waterproof shoes, branded rucksacks or jackets.
If your ward(s) want then they can get a suitcase, no need to buy a rucksack for just one trip.
One big bagpack/rucksack(or suitcase) and a small bag is required for keeping a water bottle and a light jacket.
The mountains are not a place to showoff, they should carry only essential items mentioned in the To Do List shared above.
Any regular sports shoes are good. If they want to buy trekking shoes then they can get good ones for INR 900-1500 from Decathlon/Azad Market(near Sadar Bazaar)/Gopinath Bazaar(near Delhi Cant.). Make sure you have enough time to break into them to avoid blisters. Trim your nails (especially toe nails).
The trekking shoes should have ankle support; a thick, hard, yet flexible sole and grooves for good grip.
